Current Status
Divi 5 has been in Public Alpha for some time now and is fast approaching the release of Public Beta. Divi 5 is a complete rewrite of the Divi framework, built for speed, stability, and scalability.
At Divi-Modules, we’ve been working closely with Elegant Themes throughout this multi-year process. We’ve begun releasing Divi 5-compatible versions of our extensions and continue to work toward full native Divi 5 support across all modules.

Backwards Compatibility System
Divi 5 includes a Backwards Compatibility System designed to allow Divi 4 modules to run using the legacy framework. While this approach is promising, our testing has shown that it currently works only with very simple modules.
Due to performance and reliability concerns, we’ve opted out of this system for the following modules: Table Maker, TablePress Styler, Image Box, Typewriter, Text-On-A-Path, and Simple Heading. Instead, we are focused on developing native Divi 5 versions of each of our products as soon as possible.
What This Means For You
If your site uses any of these modules, we recommend not upgrading from Divi 4 to Divi 5 at this time. While Divi 5 is stable for some use cases, it remains under active development. We continue to advise caution for all live deployments.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and support as we navigate these important changes. Converting of our products to Divi 5.0 has been a long and complex process, but we’re confident it’ll be worth the wait. Divi 5.0 is set to be a game-changer, ensuring Divi remains a leading WordPress builder for years to come.
