AuthorAI requires you to have an active ChatGPT API Key and API Credit from OpenAI. To obtain an API Key, visit the OpenAI website and create a free account. Then follow the instructions on the OpenAI website for creating a ChatGPT API Key.
A) API Key
Here you can register your ChatGPT API Key. To do so, enter your API Key in the field provided and click the Check button. If the API Key is correct click the Save Settings button to save the key.
B) Response
Here you can see the live response from the ChatGPT API. If everything is working correctly you should see a welcome message from the AI in the response field. If you see errors, please resolve them and try again.
C) Temperature
Here you can control the randomness of the ChatGPT API response.
D) Max Tokens
Here you can control the maximum length of the ChatGPT API response.
