Hide & Show PRO

Understanding Modes

Hide & Show PRO has three modes: Off, Hide and Show. These modes behave differently depending on whether the selected Preset is enabled or disabled.

A) When The Preset Is Enabled...

When the selected Preset is enabled, the modes behave as you would expect: elements which are set to Hide will be hidden if the Preset evaluates to true; elements which are set to Show will be shown if the Preset evaluates to true.

B) When The Preset Is Disabled...

When the selected Preset is disabled, the behaviour of the modes may not be what you would expect.

Hide & Show PRO assumes that if an element’s Hide & Show Mode is set to Hide, it’s normal state would be to show. Likewise, if an element’s Hide & Show Mode is set to Show, then it’s normal state would be to hide.

Therefore, when the selected Preset is disabled, elements that are set to Hide will be shown at all times, and elements that are set to Show will be hidden at all times.
